We believe that the fusion of creativity and collaboration is the heart of exceptional design, so our partners work with many architects and interior designers to produce furniture and art that is tailored to your style. Our commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation has led us to develop the Designer's Collaboration Program where we will purchase original residential designs, and partner with artists and other makers to launch you into the custom and luxury design space. We are excited to invite all potential collaborators to inquire about submission consideration.

Submission Requirements:

1. Design Specifications:

   • All submissions must be original. Prints, reproductions, nor plagiarized work will not be accepted.

   • All submissions must include the title of the work, a brief design description (maximum 500 words), key features, materials, design philosophy and inspiration, and any special considerations.

   • Residential designs should be a minimum of 2500sf and include complete floor plans, elevations, and any other relevant details for a fully realized residential design. 

   • Residential design submissions must be in CAD format (AutoCAD or other compatible formats). No hand-drawn or non-digital submissions will be accepted.

   • Plans must comply with current 2021 IRC codes and standards.

2. Intellectual Property:

   • By submitting a design, the participant agrees that they are the sole and original creator of the submitted design and upon completion of the sale, the buyer will hold sole ownership rights to the original intellectual property.

   • Participants retain the right to submit the same work to other platforms or buyers but understand that once sold to M+W through this program, the rights will be transferred exclusively to M+W.

3. Review Process:

   • All submissions will undergo a thorough review by our team for originality, completeness, and fit for our target audience.

   • Submissions will be evaluated based on originality, creativity, feasibility, and overall design quality.

   • Not all submissions will be selected for purchase, but all accepted submissions will receive feedback.

4. Compensation:

   • Participants whose work is selected for purchase will be compensated based on  the terms outlined in the collaboration agreement.

5. Program Duration:

   • Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis, with no end date. Artists and designers are welcome to submit as many designs as they wish.
